 "Achilles" with his new best friend, Lauren. It's unfortunate his previous owner didn't realize how much this dog adores children, although we must admit Achilles made the transition from home to rescue to new home far more smoothly than most. He's obviously very happy now and having a great time. |

 "Lucky Lucy" was rescued in November 2011 in the company of two purebred Mastiffs. Stress made her pluck out most of her feathers, but she’s in great shape now and was adopted by an Etosha volunteer. |
