A lovely boy named "Parker" was surrendered to rescue in February, 2010 by his owner, who said she purchased him from a puppy mill near Burleson, Texas. Parker is approximately 2.5 years old, neutered, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. He is waiting for surgery to remove a tumor in his right ear, after which time he'll be available for adoption to a very special home. Parker has good hips and heart function and a wonderful, easygoing temperament.
"Becca" was born in June of 2008. She is spayed, heartworm negative, utd on shots and micro-chipped. Marley has a sweet, loving temperament and gets along well with other dogs. She currently is attending obedience classes to correct some behavioral issues and will be ready for a new home by April, 2010. Breeder unknown.
"Taylor" is a purebred Ridgeback born in February of 2006. She was surrendered to a kill shelter by her owner, who told us she was purchased from a backyard breeder near Burkheim (Tx). Taylor is spayed, heartworm negative, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. She also has hip dysplasia and requires supplements (glucosamine/condroitin) for that condition. She is house trained and fine with children over the age of six. No cats.
"Jewel" - According to her AKC registration,
Jewel was born 3/4/99 (#HM821841/07). She was surrendered to rescue because of behavioral problems,
but she has improved considerably and is a sweet girl. A little shy with strangers and good with children.
"Gabriel" - Gabriel is a purebred male Ridgeback, approximately 4 years old. He was a very abused pup but has had many hours of training and personal time to bring him around. Still, he remains somewhat shy
and sensitive. He is also very loyal to whoever he bonds with and never forgets that bond. He will be a wonderful dog in the right environment. He needs a quiet and disciplined home, no small children. Pedigree unknown.
